Why?

I met this guy I was talking to online for a few weeks. I thought we would meet in a public place, but he kept trying to get me to meet him at run-down malls or abandoned parking lots on his way home from picking up his daughter from lower Michigan. After I declined, we settled on a restaurant. I met him there and he had begrudgingly sat down. I tried to talk to him, but he didn’t seem interested. I asked him if he wanted to talk and his reply was, “Why would I want to talk to you?” Long story short, our whole relationship was based on sleeping together and only sleeping together. It lasted two months.
