I dated a guy for 5 months who hated Courtney Love. He would call her a bitch every now and then and mention how she orchestrated the death of Kurt Cobain. I figured of all the conspiracy theory eccentricities out there this was minimal. I was wrong.
One day I was hanging at his place and he went to turn on his tv and paused and stared at me. I was like “What?” He said he had his computer hooked up to the tv and something was up that he didn’t want me to see. I assumed it was porn and shrugged.. he kept staring and then turned the screen on. It was a Gmail inbox and there was an email on it from the mother of Alice Cooper – which he had, he said, because he’d been sending Fan Mail for years and she responded a few times. Anyway the email gave him the lawyer to contact for communication with Courtney Love? He explained he had hired a hacker on the dark web and knew where the autopsy report was that would prove she killed Kurt. And he was going to blackmail her with this information.
I bounced after that.
